GCT Semiconductor Holding, Inc. (“GCT” or the “Company”) (NYSE: GCTS), a distinguished innovator and provider of cutting-edge 5G and 4G semiconductor solutions, has proudly declared the appointment of Nelson C. Chan to its esteemed Board of Directors, effective as of March 26, 2024.

Mr. Chan brings with him a wealth of board experience spanning numerous years. Currently serving as the Chair of the Board of Directors of Synaptics and a board member of Deckers Outdoors and Twist Bioscience, Mr. Chan has previously held the position of Chair on the boards of Adesto Technologies and Outerwall. Additionally, he has contributed his expertise as a board member for companies such as Affymetrix, Silicon Laboratories, Inc., and Socket Mobile. Furthermore, Mr. Chan has held executive roles, including Chief Executive Officer of Magellan Corporation and various senior management positions at SanDisk Corporation, culminating in his role as Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Consumer Business division.

Mr. Chan is an alumnus of the University of California at Santa Barbara, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Santa Clara University, where he earned his Master’s degree in Business Administration.
