Bharti Airtel (“Airtel”), India’s leading telecommunications services provider, has named Sharat Sinha as the CEO of Airtel Business, effective June 3, 2024. In his new role, Sharat will report to Gopal Vittal and will join the Airtel Management Board.
Sharat transitions to Airtel Business from Checkpoint Software Technologies Limited, where he served as President of Asia Pacific. A seasoned technology professional, Sharat has also held leadership positions at Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, and VMware. His early career at Ericsson and VSNL provided him with a robust foundation in telecommunications.
