Deutsche Telekom and Mitel have deepened their collaboration in the B2B partner channel with the launch of “Unify X powered by Telekom.” This integrated offering combines Mitel’s cloud-based communication and collaboration solution with Telekom’s broadband products.
The demand for hosted or cloud PBXs is rapidly growing in Europe, driven by their flexibility and cost-effectiveness, particularly for remote and hybrid work environments. Analyst Elka Popova, VP of Connected Work Research at Frost & Sullivan, estimates that by the end of 2027, 92 percent of organizations in Europe plan to adopt cloud, hybrid, and mobile PBX solutions.
Unify X by Telekom offers enhanced flexibility, allowing seamless integration of mobile phone numbers and home office connections into virtual systems. Employees can make calls from any location under familiar conditions, facilitating business continuity and scalability as companies expand.
Existing Unify telephone system users can easily transition to the new cloud-based solution without complex migration efforts, leveraging their familiarity with basic functions.
Telekom and Mitel support this initiative with comprehensive measures including sales qualifications, technical training, and assistance in offer creation and conceptualization. Christian Jessel, Head of DACH at Mitel, emphasizes that this step reinforces the strong relationship between the two companies, broadening market reach through reseller channels and enhancing accessibility to a proven UC solution.
Michael Müller-Berg, responsible for B2B partner business at Telekom Deutschland, underscores the reliability of this collaboration for partners and business customers, combining future-proof virtual telephone systems with a robust network and premium service.
This partnership aims to empower more businesses across Europe with advanced UC solutions, backed by Telekom and Mitel’s commitment to innovation and customer support.
