Zain KSA, a leading provider of telecommunications and digital services, has appointed Eng. Saad bin Abdulrahman Al-Sadhan as Acting CEO, effective August 13, 2024, as announced on the Saudi Stock Exchange, Tadawul.
With over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications, IT, and digital services sectors, Eng. Al-Sadhan has held several prominent leadership positions at Zain KSA. Most recently, he served as the Chief Business and Wholesale Officer, where he was instrumental in driving the growth of the B2B sector. Under his leadership, Zain KSA developed a comprehensive digital ecosystem that integrated advanced telecom services and cloud solutions, anchored in 5G technologies. He also played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s business and wholesale divisions by establishing strategic partnerships with international industry leaders.
Since joining Zain KSA in 2016, Eng. Al-Sadhan has made significant contributions to the company’s success. Before his tenure at Zain KSA, he held various leadership roles at both local and international telecom companies. In addition to his responsibilities at Zain, Eng. Al-Sadhan serves as a board member at Zain Omantel International (ZOI).
Eng. Al-Sadhan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) and has earned several professional certifications in leadership and IT.
This appointment follows the passing of former CEO Eng. Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Al-Deghaither, to whom Zain KSA recently paid tribute, honoring his impactful legacy within the company.
