This partnership aims to introduce Reticulate’s cutting-edge video technology to new markets.
Reticulate Micro develops advanced software solutions for both commercial and defense sectors, focusing on delivering reliable communications at the network edge. Their technology is crucial for ground intelligence, supporting first responders, military operations, critical infrastructure, and enterprise users, particularly in challenging or low-bandwidth environments.
Through the ELEVATE marketplace, Reticulate Micro will bring its VAST™ video encoding and compression platform, designed to operate with minimal bandwidth and ultra-low latency. Optimized for tactical scenarios and edge networks, VAST™ uses dynamic resolution and AI-driven rate control to stream HD video at under 50 kbps while maintaining high visual clarity.
In practical applications, VAST™ enables secure, tactical video streaming and satellite communications for the defense sector. It also facilitates reliable voice, data, and video transmissions for NGOs and aid workers coordinating disaster response. Additionally, media professionals can use the platform to broadcast footage from remote areas, while utilities and infrastructure companies benefit from enhanced video monitoring and security.
As a new ELEVATE partner, Reticulate Micro gains access to Viasat’s expansive partner ecosystem, fostering collaboration with other organizations in satellite connectivity and IoT. Viasat will also provide technical support and commercial frameworks to help Reticulate expand into new markets.
