Nine World Wide Technology Employees Recognized as Technology All-Stars and Rising Stars

World Wide Technology (WWT), a global technology solutions provider, proudly honors nine of its employees who were recognized at the 29th Annual Women of Color STEM Conference held from October 3-5. Organized in collaboration with Women of Color magazine, the conference celebrates the significant contributions of women in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).

Since its inception in 1995, the Women of Color STEM Awards has served as a premier platform for acknowledging the achievements of women in STEM while offering valuable networking opportunities. Each year, judges select awardees from a pool of accomplished professionals, including new hires, mid-career specialists, managers, and executives.

This year, several WWT employees were recognized in both the Technology All-Star and Rising-Star categories. The All-Star category honors accomplished women of color in mid to advanced career stages, acknowledging their impact in both the workplace and their communities. In contrast, the Rising-Star category recognizes young women with fewer than 15 years of experience who are shaping the future of technology.

On behalf of WWT’s executive team, we applaud these nine women for their dedication, hard work, and commitment to pushing their STEM fields forward,” said Bob Ferrell, Executive Vice President of Global Human Resources and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I). “We are grateful to the Women of Color STEM Conference for honoring these outstanding women as we collectively strive to build a stronger and more inclusive workforce.
