Arrcus Advances Network Innovation with New $30 Million Investment

Arrcus, a leader in hyperscale network software and provider of core-edge-multi-cloud routing and switching infrastructure, announced today a significant new investment of $30 million from Prosperity7 Ventures, NVIDIA, Lightspeed, Hitachi Ventures, Liberty Global, Clear Ventures, and General Catalyst. This increased investor interest reflects Arrcus’s success with leading Fortune 500 and Global 2000 clients and will help the company expand platform support, accelerate growth, and continue delivering cost-effective, transformative network solutions for its global clientele.

With the rapid adoption of AI, there is a growing demand for distributed networks to enhance efficiency across enterprise data centers, 5G, edge, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments. Arrcus’s unique routing and switching platform, Arrcus Connected Edge (ACE), features a distributed microservices architecture that is flexible, powerful, scalable, fully programmable, modular, and suitable for hybrid cloud deployments. It can be deployed across various form factors including Data Processing Units (DPUs), commercial silicon chips, or computing platforms, supporting a wide range of use cases such as low-latency networks in data centers, modern edge deployments, telecommunications access and transport, and hybrid multi-cloud connectivity.

Arrcus’s ACE network platform, powered by NVIDIA BlueField DPU, enables customers to efficiently offload, accelerate, and isolate compute-intensive network applications like security and traffic engineering. With the rise of emerging AI applications, this setup allows customers to benefit from secure, high-performance connectivity within data centers while achieving higher utilization and energy efficiency for compute-intensive workloads.

“We welcome NVIDIA as our latest investor and look forward to further expanding our collaboration. Arrcus’s leading network software, combined with NVIDIA’s AI infrastructure, will deliver maximum efficiency for customers across their data centers and edge and cloud computing environments,” said Shekar Ayyar, Chairman and CEO of Arrcus. “We also thank Prosperity7, Lightspeed, Hitachi Ventures, Liberty Global, Clear Ventures, and General Catalyst for their longstanding support and trust in our vision.”

The collaboration between NVIDIA and Arrcus aims to extend AI data center architectures to distributed configurations supported by modular designs like the NVIDIA MGX platform.

“Modern networks are evolving to meet customer demands in the AI era,” explained Kevin Deierling, Senior Vice President of Networking at NVIDIA. “Together with Arrcus, we will deliver highly performant, secure, and cost-effective networks for data centers and numerous accelerated computing applications.”

Arrcus is gaining significant attention for its innovative network software solutions, enabling enterprises to achieve significant cost savings while optimizing scalability, performance, and reliability across core, edge, and multi-cloud infrastructures. Arrcus’s networking capabilities are well-suited for telecommunications, financial services, and industrial sectors.

“AI is increasing the need for more flexible networks to maximize the efficiency of high-performance computing cycles,” said Jason Hardy, Chief Technology Officer for AI at Hitachi Vantara. “We are excited that Arrcus’s software can be deployed on industry-leading hardware platforms for distributed data center networks.”

“We welcome the new investment in Arrcus. Arrcus network solutions provide high-performance at low costs for data centers and carrier networks, meeting the infrastructure needs for AI and 5G,” added Adrian Drury, MD Platform Technology at Liberty Global.

“Arrcus is driving exciting network transformation for data centers and AI,” commented Abhishek Shukla, Managing Director at Prosperity7 Ventures, following their leadership in Arrcus’s Series D financing round. “We look forward to accelerating growth and deployment of the platform through key customers, alongside NVIDIA and other investors.”

“With its ACE platform, Arrcus will continue pushing the boundaries of network innovation. Their unique approach utilizing distributed microservices architecture and integration with leading hardware platforms supports a wide range of network applications—from edge environments to data centers and multi-clouds—placing them ahead of comparable solutions in the market,” explained Alan Weckel, Co-Founder and Technology Analyst at 650 Group. “This new investment underscores Arrcus’s vision and capability to deliver powerful, scalable, and cost-effective network solutions that meet the growing demands of AI-driven environments.”
