As the 2024 general election nears, Comcast NBCUniversal is once again making it easy to access election news, voting details, and expert analysis across multiple platforms.
We’re thrilled to bring back Comcast’s Election Central on TV and streaming services, including Xfinity X1, Xfinity Flex, Xumo Stream Box, Xumo TV, and the Xfinity Stream app.
For over 20 years, Comcast has prioritized civic engagement, voter information, and registration. This year, we’re helping connect customers, viewers, and employees to crucial election updates and tools to “Plan Your Vote.”
Since its launch in 2012, Election Central has become a trusted hub for Xfinity customers seeking up-to-date information on national elections. This year, it expands to even more users with its availability on Xumo Stream Box and Xumo TV.
By saying “Election Central” or “Plan Your Vote” into their voice remote, users can easily access the latest news clips, navigate their favorite channels across broadcast, cable, and streaming, and find bilingual voting information for their state, thanks to NBC News’ Plan Your Vote tool.
Currently, customers can watch replays of national conventions, catch up on key news segments, and prepare for the upcoming Presidential Debate on September 10 across any network they choose.
“Plan Your Vote” and its Spanish counterpart, “Planifica Tu Voto,” offer a comprehensive, bilingual state-by-state guide with essential details on voting regulations, deadlines, mail-in voting, early voting options, and more. This tool is powered by NBC News and Telemundo, gathering information directly from state government websites.
