Electronic Arts (NASDAQ: EA), Comcast (Nasdaq: CMCSA), and Peacock have announced a new partnership to coincide with the release of EA SPORTS FC™ 25 and the first anniversary of EA SPORTS FC™ Mobile.
This collaboration integrates EA SPORTS FC, Xfinity, and Peacock, offering North American FC 25 players exclusive in-game customization, including unique Ultimate Team™ vanity items for Xfinity and Peacock, arriving in post-launch updates. EA SPORTS FC Mobile players in the region will also receive special offers. Notably, this marks Peacock’s first in-game integration in the gaming industry.
U.S. Women’s National Team soccer player Sophia Smith, who is also a Comcast partner for the Paris 2024 Olympics, commented on the Xfinity kit featured in EA SPORTS FC 25, saying, “After the excitement of the Summer Olympics, I’m excited to work with Xfinity to bring FC 25 fans a new kit inspired by my on and off-field moves.”
Additionally, Comcast is a key partner for the EA SPORTS FC New York Clubhouse event, where Xfinity-branded streaming booths will be featured. This event celebrates tomorrow’s global launch of EA SPORTS FC 25 and highlights Xfinity’s commitment to providing gamers with gig-speed WiFi and low-lag connections.
“As the nation’s largest internet provider, we’re committed to delivering fast, reliable internet for gamers,” said Mark Cruz, Senior Director of Brand Partnerships for Xfinity.
