Ligado Networks and GCT Semiconductor Holding Inc. have announced the commercial availability of GCT’s Luna Cat-12 LTE module, now certified by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). This module is a key component in a new ecosystem of devices operating on LTE Band 54 spectrum at 1670-1675 MHz.
The GCT GCM4701NA module is designed to advance the LTE Band 54 ecosystem, offering new possibilities for critical infrastructure sectors, including utilities and enterprises that are developing private networks. Featuring GCT’s GDM7243A chipset, the module supports 4G LTE (Cat 12) connectivity for a variety of devices produced by original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in these sectors.

The GCM4701NA module, available in a Cat-12 PCIe form factor, supports FDD Bands 2 and 66, as well as TDD Bands 48 and 54.
