McAfee Appoints Justin Hastings as Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer
McAfee, a global leader in online security, has announced the appointment of Justin Hastings as Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer, effective September 25, 2024. In this role, Hastings will join the McAfee executive team and report directly to President and CEO Craig Boundy.
Hastings comes to McAfee from Experian, where he most recently served as Chief Operating Officer for global HR and previously as Chief Human Resources Officer for North America. He will oversee all human resources strategies and functions at McAfee, which include learning and development, leadership and workforce planning, total rewards, diversity and inclusion, recruitment, and workplace strategy.

During his tenure at Experian, Hastings was instrumental in creating a culture characterized by speed, agility, and inclusivity, which helped drive revenue growth from $2.7 billion in 2015 to nearly $5 billion in 2023. His contributions also garnered several awards and recognitions, including being listed among the Fortune Top 100 Companies for the last four years and earning accolades from Forbes as one of the world’s most innovative companies, along with multiple awards for diversity and inclusion.

Prior to his role at Experian, Hastings held various leadership positions in the UK and Hong Kong with technology firms BT and Logica. He holds a Master’s degree in HR Management from Rutgers University in the U.S., an MBA from Kingston University in the UK, and a Bachelor of Arts in French and Business from the University of Surrey in the UK.
