These new Points of Presence (PoPs) and partnerships significantly enhance Megaport’s service reach, enabling customers to connect to a broader ecosystem of service providers and data centers throughout Europe via a scalable, high-performance underlying network.
In Germany, Megaport has teamed up with Portus Data Centers to expand its reach, deploying a new PoP in Munich. This collaboration provides customers with enhanced connectivity capabilities in Central Europe.
Additionally, Megaport has strengthened its partnership with NorthC Data Centers in the Netherlands by launching a second PoP at the NorthC data center in Almere, located in the Amsterdam metropolitan area. Megaport’s services have been established at NorthC’s Oude Meer facility for several years, making the Almere PoP the latest addition to their growing presence in the region. This expansion is part of broader joint initiatives with NorthC to enhance connectivity and service availability nationwide.
Moreover, Megaport has formalized its partnership with Sipartech, a provider of high-speed connectivity solutions. Sipartech’s dense optical network in France and other European capitals offers last-mile connectivity to Megaport customers in Western Europe.
These key partnerships and the addition of 14 new locations further facilitate the modernization of network connectivity for customers, enabling them to connect with major cloud service providers across Europe.
