Telefónica has been honored with the ‘Silver Stevie’ Award in the Best Annual Report category at the 2024 International Stevie Business Awards. This recognition comes from a competitive pool of over 3,700 nominations from organizations in more than 60 countries.
The Stevie Awards, now in their 21st year, are among the most prestigious business accolades globally. Telefónica’s annual report has also been named a finalist in the 15th edition of the Reuters Events Responsible Business Awards, in the Reporting and Transparency category, further highlighting the company’s commitment to excellence and transparency in its reporting practices.Telefónica has been awarded the ‘Silver Stevie’ in the Best Annual Report category at the 2024 International Stevie Business Awards (IBAs). This recognition highlights the clarity, accessibility, and accuracy of Telefónica’s 2023 Management and Sustainability Report, which was made possible through the digitalization of the entire reporting process.
The report features Telefónica’s new strategic plan, GPS (Growth, Profitability, and Sustainability), and complies with upcoming regulations by incorporating a double materiality analysis. This analysis addresses impacts, risks, and opportunities (IROs) for each topic, aligning with European Sustainability Reporting Standards.
The IBAs, often referred to as the “Olympics of work,” received more than 3,700 nominations from organizations across 60 countries. Winners were chosen after over two months of judging by more than 300 professionals worldwide. The award ceremony will take place in Istanbul on Friday, October 11th.
Telefónica’s 2023 Sustainability Report is also a finalist in the 15th edition of the Reuters Events Responsible Business Awards in the Reporting and Transparency category, selected from over 700 entries. The winners of this award will be announced soon.
