At AT&T, we take pride in being the cornerstone of modern connectivity, delivering cutting-edge solutions through our extensive fiber and wireless networks. Our infrastructure spans over 1.4 million miles of fiber and licensed wireless spectrum, seamlessly working together to transmit 737 petabytes of data daily. In today’s connected world, it’s easy to take for granted the ability to access the internet from almost anywhere, but it all relies on the robust broadband network that quickly transports data across the globe.
When you’re at home, you likely use Wi-Fi to connect to our fiber network. While Wi-Fi is now a staple in households, its journey to becoming a household name has been a long one—one that I witnessed firsthand as I began my career here when Wi-Fi was just emerging. Our network has evolved significantly over the years, and we’re committed to ongoing innovation to ensure we provide our customers with the best possible connectivity. That’s why we’re thrilled to be among the first to offer Wi-Fi 7 to our customers, with plans to launch a new Wi-Fi 7-capable gateway by the end of the year. We believe Wi-Fi 7 will enable customers to fully experience the multi-gigabit speeds provided by fiber and the next-generation applications and technologies that will build upon them.
Our mission is to keep customers connected wherever they are, supported by a fiber and mobile network designed to meet America’s growing demand for connectivity at home and on the go.
At AT&T, we’re not just preparing for the future—we’re actively shaping it. We look forward to offering our customers the benefits of continuous innovation and connectivity solutions like Wi-Fi 7 and more.
