Transcend Vivoscope Introduces Turnkey Two-Photon Imaging Systems with poLight ASA Tunable Optics

Transcend Vivoscope, a leader in biomedical imaging, will unveil its latest miniature turnkey two-photon microscopy solution, the SUPERNOVA-600, at the Neuroscience 2024 conference in Chicago, Illinois, from Oct. 5-9. The SUPERNOVA-600 integrates TLens® tunable optics, enabling real-time, high-resolution in vivo imaging of neuronal and cellular activity. This advancement supports research in areas such as cognition, drug development, and diseases like Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and epilepsy.

Dr. Wu Runlong, Director of R&D at Transcend Vivoscope, highlighted the flexibility and advanced capabilities of the SUPERNOVA-600, which allows researchers to synchronize neuronal and synaptic activity with overall brain function and behavior, providing comprehensive dynamic maps. The TLens® technology enhances imaging quality with its fast autofocus and precise focal adjustments, ensuring stable and efficient data collection for free-moving animal studies.

Dr. Oyvind Isaksen, CEO of poLight ASA, noted that the success of TLens® in the Kavli Institute’s two-photon innovation, which contributed to a Nobel Prize, has spurred significant interest worldwide. He expressed excitement about collaborating with Transcend Vivoscope to expand the use of TLens® in mTPM systems.

After the successful launch of the SUPERNOVA-100 at Neuroscience 2023, Transcend Vivoscope will showcase the entire SUPERNOVA product line at booth #357 during Neuroscience 2024.
