Intersoft Electronics Inc. US and TSS Solutions Forge Partnership for U.S. Military Air Surveillance Radar SLEP and CUAS Solutions Intersoft Electronics Inc. US, based in Naples, Florida, and TSS Solutions from Melbourne, Florida, have announced a strategic partnership to develop and deliver Air Surveillance Radar (ASR) Service Life Extension Programs (SLEP) and Counter Unmanned Aerial System (CUAS)/anti-drone solutions for the U.S. military. This collaboration leverages the strengths of both companies in radar manufacturing to address the increasing demand for modernizing aging systems.
The agreement, unveiled at the 2024 Farnborough International Airshow, capitalizes on the complementary expertise of Intersoft and TSS Solutions. The partnership will focus on scalable radar solutions, featuring Intersoft’s ASR-M®, a modular system designed to enhance Airport Surveillance Radar performance. This modular approach facilitates quicker system integration and commissioning while reducing production, maintenance, and support costs.
A key component of the ASR-M® system is the Next Generation Signal Processor (NGSP®), which incorporates patented technologies to tackle current and emerging challenges such as wind farm interference, anomalous propagation, and 5G signal disruption.
