Vívaro, a global leader in live broadcast video transport and production solutions, proudly announces its involvement in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, providing services to international broadcasters across 18 countries. This marks Vívaro’s fifth consecutive Summer Olympics, during which it has consistently delivered cutting-edge broadcast solutions. Vívaro Media, the company’s video transport division, will handle extensive live video transmissions via its dedicated fiber network, while Vívaro Video, the production arm, will offer production resources and local support. Together, these divisions will enable top broadcasters from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and the host country, France, to deliver comprehensive coverage to over 660 million viewers.

Comprehensive Solutions for Global Coverage
Vívaro will offer critical connectivity and transport solutions from the International Broadcasting Center (IBC) and Paris-based studios back to production facilities in their respective countries, providing end-to-end support, including on-site engineering staff. The company will also deploy mobile production resources and provide on-site technical support.
Vívaro Media will encode and transport over 170 live video feeds in various high-definition formats, enable remote feed selection from the IP-VandA Package, and optimize equipment and bandwidth for broadcasters’ remote productions. Notably, Vívaro Media will deliver the customer’s first-ever services in ST-2110, underscoring its capability to meet complex technical demands. With a focus on reliability, all services will be transmitted over meticulously selected diverse fiber routes, totaling more than 20 Gbps of bandwidth, ensuring seamless delivery.
