ZTE Corporation, a global leader in information and communication technology solutions, is joining forces with Thailand’s premier mobile operator, AIS, to introduce its cutting-edge wireless products at the A-Z Center. This collaboration signals ZTE’s commitment to supporting AIS in creating an advanced, environmentally friendly, and intelligent telecommunication network.
In the pursuit of a simplified and green network, ZTE utilizes its state-of-the-art Super-N technology featuring a multi-channel design. This innovative approach significantly reduces power consumption in Remote Radio Units (RRUs). To meet AIS’s specific network needs, ZTE and AIS are launching a range of groundbreaking radio products in Thailand. These include the industry’s most powerful 4*160W RRUs for the 700MHz and 900MHz bands, a unique 12TR dual-band triple-sector RRU for the 1800MHz and 2100MHz bands, and the industry’s highest-power 480W 32TR AAU A9752 for the 1800MHz and 2100MHz bands. These products not only achieve exceptional integration of RF modules, saving on capital expenditure and rooftop space, but also enhance deployment efficiency and reduce operational costs. Live network data reveals a remarkable decrease in power consumption of over 15% and a simultaneous increase in user throughput of over 10% compared to previous-generation products.
To deliver an outstanding user experience, ZTE introduces the Intelligent Computing and Communication (ICC) board, empowering AIS’s business development in both B2B and B2C domains. With the proliferation of bandwidth-intensive applications such as video streaming and gaming, user expectations are soaring. By integrating communication and computing capabilities within base stations, the ICC board caters to these demands. In the B2C realm, it supports low-latency and high-bandwidth computing for local XR service rendering and other applications. In B2B and B2X scenarios, it enables flexible and agile deployment for tasks like industrial vision AI inspection and intelligent collision prediction for the Internet of Vehicles, thereby reducing overall costs. The ICC board facilitates smarter resource allocation within and between cells, particularly in high-interference and congested environments, ensuring optimal user experiences within resource constraints.
This collaboration between ZTE and AIS on the latest wireless products not only marks a significant milestone in Thailand’s digital transformation but also sets a new standard for the global telecommunications industry. Both entities pledge to strengthen their partnership, exploring further innovative applications to deliver more convenient, efficient, and intelligent experiences to users and contribute to global digital advancement.
