Henrietta, NY, is abuzz with excitement as T-Mobile inaugurates its latest Customer Experience Center (CEC) this week, bringing along the promise of up to 1,000 job opportunities. Spanning 83,000 square feet, this state-of-the-art facility not only emphasizes T-Mobile’s commitment to fostering a positive and engaging work environment but also introduces various amenities such as a basketball court, patio, gym, theater room, massage chairs, and more.
Larry Petrone, Director of T-Mobile’s Customer Experience Center in Henrietta, expressed gratitude for the collaborative effort that made the center’s completion possible. He highlighted the significant support from the local community, including business leaders and government entities, turning T-Mobile into an integral part of Greater Rochester. Petrone envisions the CEC making a lasting impact not only economically but also through employee volunteerism, community engagement, and a sense of pride.
The Henrietta Chamber of Commerce and Regional Transit Service (RTS) have joined in the celebration, expressing their enthusiasm for T-Mobile’s new presence. Bob Duffy, President and CEO of Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce, commended T-Mobile’s investment in the region, emphasizing the potential for growth and innovation, leading to hundreds of well-paying jobs. To commemorate this milestone, T-Mobile plans an official ribbon-cutting and celebration with community leaders in the upcoming spring.
Not stopping at the inauguration, T-Mobile has initiated a hiring campaign, aiming to fill approximately 70 positions, including Account Associates and frontline roles. These positions will focus on providing reliable resolutions, account management, and customer education. The newly hired individuals can expect competitive pay starting at $20 per hour, comprehensive benefits, and a diverse range of family resources and investment opportunities.
T-Mobile’s involvement extends beyond job creation, with a commitment to giving back to the Henrietta community and Greater Rochester. The completion of the CEC and the hiring campaign mark T-Mobile’s dedication to fostering growth and actively participating in community initiatives.
Expanding its influence in New York, T-Mobile actively contributes through initiatives like the Hometown Grant Program, which supports 100 small towns annually for city beautification projects and public improvements. In addition, T-Mobile’s Project 10Million initiative is addressing the digital divide in education by offering free internet connectivity and mobile hotspots to eligible student households, connecting over 690,000 students across 215 New York school districts.
