T-Mobile (NASDAQ: TMUS) has successfully completed extensive upgrades to its network, resulting in the expansion of 5G coverage over more than 48,000 square miles in Upstate New York. This initiative aims to provide faster and more reliable service to a broader base of T-Mobile customers, spanning from Albany to Buffalo and various locations in between.

The expansion of 5G coverage includes key areas such as Albany Airport, Clarkson University, Fair Haven State Park, Fort Drum, Lake Placid, and SUNY Plattsburgh. T-Mobile’s commitment to New York extends beyond network enhancements, with the recent opening of its Customer Experience Center in Henrietta and additional retail stores across Upstate New York. The company is actively engaged in community initiatives, such as the Hometown Grants program, benefiting small towns in the state. Notably, five towns in New York have received grants totaling nearly $225,000 for various projects.

Moreover, T-Mobile is addressing digital disparities in education through its Project 10Million initiative, investing $10.7 billion to provide free internet connectivity and mobile hotspots to eligible student households nationwide.
