Netmore Group Expands Globally with Acquisition of LoRaWAN® Network Operator Everynet

Netmore Group, a prominent global LoRaWAN® network operator, has taken a significant step in its global expansion strategy by acquiring the assets and operations of Everynet, a LoRaWAN network provider based in Delft, Netherlands, with additional offices across Europe, North and South America, and Asia. Pending regulatory approval, this acquisition will expand Netmore’s operations to 17 countries, solidifying its position as the leading LoRaWAN network operator worldwide.

This acquisition will double Netmore’s managed devices, adding over 1 million provisioned sensors to its portfolio. These new devices include approximately 400,000 track-and-trace sensors, 300,000 smart gas meters, and 200,000 smart water meters, bringing Netmore’s total active devices under management to over 2.3 million. With Everynet’s established presence across four continents, this merger significantly strengthens Netmore’s market coverage, infrastructure, and partnerships, particularly expanding its reach in the Latin American and Asia-Pacific (APAC) regions.

The acquisition aligns with a series of growth initiatives for Netmore, which has recently acquired US LoRaWAN operator and platform provider Senet, established local operations in APAC, and entered into several Platform-as-a-Service agreements with regional network providers. These developments enhance Netmore’s capacity to scale IoT applications globally, with a focus on digital transformation in utilities, energy management, and track-and-trace sectors.

“The acquisition of Everynet bolsters Netmore’s market position and accelerates our vision to become a world-leading IoT network operator. With the LoRaWAN market reaching a turning point, where consolidation supports the global need to digitize utility and energy management operations, Netmore is well-positioned to lead. Water utility Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) is one of our core use cases, demonstrated by our partnership with Yorkshire Water to build and service LoRaWAN network coverage for over 1.3 million water meters. We’re thrilled to welcome the Everynet team, whose expertise will be invaluable as we continue our growth,” stated Ove Anebygd, CEO of Netmore Group AB.

The merger with Everynet combines complementary teams, technology, and operations, generating platform and cost synergies that enhance Netmore’s ability to deliver Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) offerings on a global scale. In addition to strengthening its market presence in the US, UK, Spain, and Ireland, Netmore gains immediate access to new markets in Brazil, Italy, Indonesia, Andorra, and Iceland, providing fresh customer opportunities.

Frederik Oliver, CEO of Everynet, added, “Joining Netmore is a strategic alignment that combines resources and technical expertise to offer customers worldwide access to a top-tier LPWAN platform with expanded network reach and density. As LoRaWAN deployments scale globally, we’re excited to contribute to Netmore’s next phase of growth, enhancing services and network capabilities for a wider range of customers.”

Supported by financially strong, long-term investors, Netmore is well-equipped to seize new opportunities and drive sustainable growth. The company’s commitment to a future-proof LoRaWAN network maximizes IoT deployment lifecycles and minimizes costs associated with legacy systems and network upgrades. Through this strategic acquisition, Netmore not only solidifies its position as a market leader but also underscores its dedication to supporting digital transformation and sustainability in critical sectors worldwide.
