Chunghwa Telecom Advances Sustainability with On-Site Supply Chain Training

To enhance sustainable supply chain management, Chunghwa Telecom implements a comprehensive approach that includes supplier ESG written surveys, second-party audits conducted by employees, and third-party ESG audits performed by SGS-Taiwan. These practices ensure effective collaboration with supplier partners and uphold high standards in environmental, social, and corporate governance.

From August 1 to August 2, Chunghwa Telecom will host the “On-Site Performance Evaluation Skills Training for Sustainable Supply Chain” at the Banqiao Telecom Academy. This training, led by instructors from the SGS IMS team, aims to equip employees with the skills necessary to conduct effective on-site supplier evaluations. This initiative is part of Chunghwa Telecom’s broader strategy to enhance its sustainable supply chain management capabilities and ensure that suppliers adhere to the company’s Supplier Code of Conduct, thereby contributing to a sustainable ICT industry value chain.
